‘ONE PIECE’ is said to conclude in 2025 or 2026. Various old lady characters appear, such as Big Mum (Charlotte Linlin), Doctor Kureha, and Tsuru (Vice Admiral of the Marines).

Among them is the character Miss Buckin, a little old lady who appeared in the later part of ONE PIECE.

This time, I will thoroughly analyze the “true identity of Miss Buckin.” Appearing towards the end of the story, does Buckin have surprising titles beyond imagination? Was she an extremely beautiful woman in her youth?

Buckin’s real name is “Stussy.”

First, I would like to summarize the “information from her initial appearance.”

Miss Buckin’s real name is Miss Buckingham Stussy. “Miss” in English is a title for unmarried women. Conversely, the title for a married woman is “Mrs.” which is similar. It’s similar to Crocodile‘s “Sir.”

Therefore, strictly speaking, her real name should be Buckingham Stussy. Buckingham is a name of a city and palace in the UK. Stussy is a name of a clothing brand in the US. Both are of English origin, but whether there is any hidden meaning remains unknown.

Even after her real name was revealed, the nickname “Miss Buckin” continues to be used, so this article will also use the name Buckin for convenience.

Initial settings and age of Buckin

Meanwhile, as far as the initial settings of Buckin are concerned, the name Buckingham appears to have been added later. Stussy goes without saying. The character design of the little old lady has not changed from the beginning, but the mystery of this changed real name will be discussed again later.

Was Son Weevil a Clone of Whitebeard Created by Buckin?

Next, let’s consider the identity of Miss Buckin’s son, Weevil.

In conclusion, I speculate that Weevil is a clone of Whitebeard created by Buckin. As mentioned earlier, Buckin was a self-proclaimed scientist affiliated with MADS. Despite being self-proclaimed, she likely had a considerable understanding of science.

Moreover, Buckin herself was a test subject of cloning technology, resulting in the creation of Stussy, who later joined CP0.

This implies that Buckin had ample opportunity to steal the cloning technology established by Vegapunk and others. Three years after the disbandment of MADS, Buckin likely used this technology to create a clone by herself. This clone is Weevil, who now claims to be Whitebeard’s son.

Buckin Was an Inexperienced Scientist

However, unlike the genius Vegapunk, Buckin was inexperienced as a scientist. Consequently, the clone she created was incomplete. This explains why Weevil’s body is patchwork, and his appearance, personality, and intellect do not resemble Whitebeard’s at all.

Therefore, Weevil should carry Whitebeard’s lineage factor. As Whitebeard’s former lover, Buckin would have had easy access to his hair and other materials. Given that they share blonde hair, Buckin’s lineage factor is also likely present in Weevil.

Thus, the expression that Buckin is Weevil’s “biological mother” seems accurate.

Did Buckin Create Weevil to Seize Whitebeard’s Fortune?

What was Buckin’s purpose in creating the clone human, Weevil?

Buckin’s goal was Whitebeard’s enormous wealth. Observing her behavior of restraining Weevil, who sought revenge against Blackbeard (Marshall D. Teach) for killing his father, it seems natural to conclude that Buckin’s goal was simply “money.” There doesn’t appear to be a deeper reason.

Knowing about Whitebeard’s vast treasure from their time in the Rocks Pirates, Buckin devised a plan to seize it. After Rocks D. Xebec’s death 38 years ago, she infiltrated MADS and obtained all the cloning technology by becoming a test subject herself.

Then, 35 years ago, she created the incomplete clone human Weevil… or so I speculate.
