The true identity of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon has been revealed to be Princess Shirohoshi, and it is known that the Ancient Weapon Pluton is a gigantic warship. However, no clues have been revealed about the true nature of the “Ancient Weapon Uranus.”
Therefore, this time, I would like to thoroughly examine and predict the true identity of the “Ancient Weapon Uranus.”
First, I would like to explain the original meaning of “Uranus.” It might provide a hint about Uranus as it appears in ONE PIECE.
Uranus refers to a “god in Roman mythology.” In Greek mythology, he is also called “Ouranos,” and he is considered the primordial god who first unified the universe. He usually embodies the universe itself, and Uranus is characterized by his gigantic stature.

Since the early parts of ONE PIECE, Nami has been showcasing her signature moves like mist and lightning using weapons developed by Usopp. Especially in the latter half of ONE PIECE, after learning the weather science of Weatheria, Nami frequently attacks enemies by striking them with lightning. Since the ability of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon has been revealed to be “the control of Sea Kings,” the link between the Calm Belt and Ancient Weapons cannot be easily dismissed. In other words, if we think of the Ancient Weapon Uranus as “a weapon that can turn the sea into the Calm Belt,” it somewhat fits.
However, the question remains, “What’s the point of creating a calm state?” Unlike Poseidon, which has the clear weapon-like ability to control gigantic Sea Kings, merely creating a Calm Belt doesn’t seem to offer much of an advantage. Unless it involves controlling all natural phenomena, the theory still feels incomplete.
Is Uranus actually Zunesha?
Next, let’s consider the theory that “Ancient Weapon Uranus ≒ Zunesha.”
Zunesha (Zou) is an enormous elephant over 10 kilometers tall, probably the largest creature in ONE PIECE. Its size is comparable to a massive mountain range. On Zunesha‘s back is a nation where the Mink Tribe lives, and a single strike from Zunesha is powerful enough to easily crush the pirate ship of Jack of the Beast Pirates.

If the true identity of Uranus is Zunesha, it would certainly possess the appropriate destructive power expected of an “Ancient Weapon.” If Zunesha were to fight, it could easily defeat even the Four Emperors such as Kaidou, Big Mum (Charlotte Linlin), and “Red-Haired” Shanks.
The voice of Zunesha can be heard only by certain members of the Family of D, like Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Luffy. Kozuki Momonosuke can even converse with it. Moreover, Zunesha can only enter attack mode when ordered by Kozuki Momonosuke.
Similarly, the ability of the Ancient Weapon Poseidon, Princess Shirohoshi, involves communicating with Sea Kings, which even the Fish-Man Tribe cannot do. It follows that the Ancient Weapon Uranus might also involve communication with Zunesha, and thus, Kozuki Momonosuke could be the key.

Since it would be difficult for enemies to reach Zunesha‘s back, Uranus might be one of the strongest Ancient Weapons. If Poseidon is seen as controlling the “Sea Kings of the sea,” then Uranus could be seen as the “Zunesha of the land.”
Denying the “Uranus = Zunesha” Theory
If we assume that the Ancient Weapon Uranus is an “inorganic weapon” like a battleship, similar to Pluton, there would likely be blueprints or other inherited designs. However, such depictions have not been confirmed in ONE PIECE so far. Thus, there is no inherent contradiction in considering Uranus as Zunesha.
However, it has been revealed that Zunesha has been wandering the seas for over 1000 years.

This raises the question: if Zunesha is indeed Uranus, was it used as an Ancient Weapon during the Void Century? How could Zunesha, which has been aimlessly wandering, suddenly participate in the battle between the Family of D and the Celestial Dragons?
Presumably, the Mink Tribe also lived on Zunesha‘s back at that time. If the World Government considered the Mink Tribe as “part of the Ancient Weapon Uranus,” they might still be subjected to discrimination and persecution. However, this is not the case.
Of course, considering the connection between the Mink Tribe and the Family of D, it is not entirely unrelated. But whether there is a direct link between the Ancient Weapon and Zunesha remains uncertain.
Is the true identity of Uranus the “Dragon Horn”?
Next, let’s consider the theory that “Uranus’ true identity ≒ Dragon Horn.”
The Dragon Horn is a mysterious horn that can summon dragons.
It appeared in a one-shot manga called “MONSTERS” by ONE PIECE’s author, Eiichiro Oda. The protagonist in this story was the inspiration for the Wano Country samurai, Ryuma. Although it’s not exactly the same world, there are many links to the world of ONE PIECE.
In fact, it has been revealed that Wano Country was invaded by a dragon several hundred years ago. Ryuma became a hero for driving away this dragon. Could it be that the item used to control this dragon was the Ancient Weapon Uranus? The “heavens” in Uranus could refer to dragons flying in the sky.
Considering that Kaidou’s Devil Fruit has also been revealed to be a dragon, the existence of “dragons” plays a significant role in the world of ONE PIECE. Given that the Ancient Weapon Poseidon controls the Sea Kings, the Dragon Horn could be valuable enough to be an Ancient Weapon.
Is Uranus actually Sanjuan Wolf of the Blackbeard Pirates?
Revisiting the original meaning of Uranus, it refers to a Roman mythological god with a gigantic body, encompassing the universe and galaxies. From this perspective, the Nami theory seems unlikely. The Zunesha theory is promising but still fails to resolve the timeline issue.
So, who are the gigantic characters that have appeared in ONE PIECE?
That would be Sanjuan Wolf of the Blackbeard Pirates. Due to his Devil Fruit, he has become an extraordinarily massive giant, standing over 180 meters tall. Considering the concept of “immense size,” Sanjuan Wolf (and his Devil Fruit) fits the description of an original god perfectly.
The reasons remain unclear, but considering Princess Shirohoshi as “Ancient Weapon Poseidon,” Luffy, who is expected to eventually destroy Fish-Man Island, as “Ancient Weapon Pluton (Noah’s Ark),” and the Blackbeard Pirates with Sanjuan Wolf as “Ancient Weapon Uranus,” it all makes sense.
Additionally, considering “immensity” alone, the monsters of the Florian Triangle could also be candidates for the Ancient Weapon Uranus. Destroying over 100 pirate ships annually, they are fitting as Ancient Weapons. Extending this to the Calm Belt, the Red Line might also be a candidate for Uranus.

Former Seven Warlords of the Sea member Mihawk wields the black blade called “Yoru” (night). Mihawk’s connection to Imu is also suspected.

Did Roger return from Laugh Tale because of the “Ancient Weapons”?
Here, what suddenly catches my attention is the existence of “Gol D. Roger.”
Like Luffy, Roger could hear the voices of Zunesha and the Sea Kings. He is famous for being the first person in the world to reach the final destination, Laugh Tale. Despite this, why did he come back?

The reason is indeed related to the “Ancient Weapons.” Princess Shirohoshi, Kozuki Momonosuke, and others are all in their teens. There was no one like them in Roger‘s time. Including Uranus, none of the Ancient Weapons were fully assembled, so he couldn’t do anything and had to return from Laugh Tale.
Therefore, Roger entrusted the “future” to the next generation. In other words, he had no choice but to entrust the “future” to another member of the Family of D. As mentioned in the Four Emperors strength ranking, it’s understandable why Roger, who was stronger than any of the Four Emperors, let himself be captured by the navy and executed in such a grand manner.
